Diana Maldonado

Diana Maldonado grew up in Escondido, California, and spent her childhood years enjoying the outdoors with family and friends. Today, she lives in San Marcos, California, and outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, trying new restaurants, traveling, and tackling home improvement projects.

Her favorite place to be is "anywhere near the ocean". Whether it's the beach, a water-front restaurant, or just taking a walk by the water, that's where she feels most relaxed.

• Her favorite foods include Mexican food and sushi, and she'll hardly ever pass up chips and guacamole... She also has a soft spot for a good pastry.

On the professional side, Diana brings eight years of Human Resources experience to EWB, with a background focused specifically on construction and skilled trades organizations. Her experience spans employee relations, recruiting, benefits, compliance, performance management, and building HR programs that actually work for both employees and the business.

She is collaborative, approachable, and genuinely believes HR is about building trust and creating a workplace where people can do their best work.
