Jerry Torvar

Jerry Torvar is from Carlsbad, California, where he grew up riding dirt bikes at Miramar, playing Pop Warner football at Chapel Field, and spending time at Marine Street surfing the beach break, all before the area looked anything like it does today. Later on, he dive mastered with John Muir College's oceanography department, adding another chapter to a lifelong connection with the Southern California outdoors.

Jerry brings over 40 years of construction experience to EWB, and by his own account, he's built it all. He has also held a general contractor's license, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the industry from every angle.
