Mike Gonzalez

Mike’s journey with Eleven Western Builders began over 30 years ago, when he answered a job ad in the Los Angeles Times. His first assignment? A Winchell’s Donuts project in Point Loma — a unique concept aiming to combine donuts and ribs for the lunch crowd. From day one, Mike jumped in as a working superintendent, and ever since, he's been a cornerstone of the EWBI field team.

Originally from South Gate, California, Mike grew up skating, biking, and (by his own admission) jumping off a few too many bridges. Today, he lives in La Habra Heights in L.A. County, and while the bridges may be behind him, he still brings that same adventurous energy to everything he does — from job sites to family time. When he’s not leading projects, you might find him hanging out with his grandson, doodling (he admits it’s compulsive!), or dreaming of his favorite place: Hawaii. And if you’re ever on a long drive, take a snack tip from Mike — chili lime corn nuts are the way to go.
