On January 25th of 2023, Eleven Western Builders, Inc. celebrated its 40th year in business. The company has been servicing the Western United States since 1983 and has come a long way since inception. Chairman and CEO, Rick Backus founded the company “with a dream and $2000 to his name”. After getting the company up and running, EWB solidified its name in construction, initially specializing in fast-track retail construction for the grocery and restaurant sectors.
Fast forward forty years, the company generates over $100 million in annual revenue and their areas of expertise have grown to include Shopping Centers, Hospitality, Car Washes, Quick Service Retail, and much more.
Brett Backus, Chief Operating Officer of the company, had this to say in a statement to the corporate family of Eleven Western Builders regarding the company’s 40 year anniversary –

EWB has been experiencing tremendous growth and success in recent years. Due to the increase in demand for their exceptional construction and maintenance services over the past two years, the company has established an office in Arizona and expanded their office and thus presence in Northern California.
